Starting from the facts that my students lack of practice in their English, I plan for them (the students) to develop their own blog. Sure, what they write is not perfect yet. Their English is really expressed in Javanese grammar. I said to them, it is not a big problem. I advised them to keep on writing.
I dream that someday they will realize the goodness of being expressive in writing. For now, of course, they have got so many difficulties. Later, they will make it. I will be happy, if they can be happy with their English. And, I am just a proud teacher for their efforts.
Learning a foreign language takes time. I understand it by my personal experience. When I came to the United States from Ukraine, I could not read, write, or speak English.
My advice to you: don’t give up but practice, practice, and practice.
